How do I copy an emoji?

Open the Picker tab and click any emoji. It is copied to your clipboard instantly, and the status bar shows its Unicode and hex code, which you can also click to copy.

What is the Emoji Mixer?

The Mixer lets you click several emojis to build one combination, then copy the whole string. Press the Random button to fill it with 2 to 4 random emojis.

What is an emoji mashup?

A mashup combines two emojis into one sticker-style image using Google's Emoji Kitchen. Pick a left and right emoji, or press Random Mashup. Not every pair exists, so unavailable right-hand emojis are greyed out once you choose the left one.

How do I use a mashup in WhatsApp, Slack or Discord?

Mashups are images, not real emojis. Use Copy Image or Download to paste or upload the PNG in a chat. For WhatsApp, download the WhatsApp Sticker (WebP) and import it with a sticker-maker app. Chat apps do not show pasted images as small inline emojis.

What are kaomoji and emoticons?

Kaomoji are Japanese text faces built from letters and symbols, such as (◕‿◕) or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The Emoticons tab has kaomoji sorted by mood, classic emoticons like :-), symbols and decorative dividers. Click one to copy it and paste it anywhere plain text works.

Why do flag emojis show as letters on Windows?

Windows does not draw country flag emojis, so they appear as two letters such as GW. This tool loads a flag font so flags display correctly on the page. The copied emoji is a normal flag emoji and shows as a flag in apps that support them.

Do you store my emoji selections?

No. The picker, mixer and emoticons run in your browser and nothing is saved or sent to our servers. Mashup images are loaded directly from Google's Emoji Kitchen servers when you create one.

Is the emoji tool free?
